ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Becomes Smithsonian Exhibit

The social media campaign went viral, and while it wasn’t related to any sold gift or nonprofit, it raised over $100 million for a ALS Association in a U.S. and hundreds of thousands of dollars for identical charities around a globe. Numerous celebrities got in on a ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, such as Harry Styles, Emma Roberts, and Liam Hemsworth. Additionally, a means not usually lifted tellurian awareness, though it increasing a volume of ALS samples to use for testing. Florida golfer Chris Kennedy is credited with putting an importance on ALS recognition when he challenged his wife’s cousin Jeanette Senerchia, whose father has ALS, to perform a same stunt; DCist reports that a bucket that will go on arrangement during a Smithsonian is a one used by Senerchia.
