Bands compensate reverence to military officer mislaid to ALS

A advantage for a family of Brian Newhard, who died of ALS, was hold during The Federal in Youngstown.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Weeks after a internal military officer mislaid his conflict with ALS, a village is still rallying behind his family.

Saturday night’s advantage paid reverence to one of Sergeant Brian Newhard’s passions: music.

Six bands played in a uncover during a Federal in downtown Youngstown.

Proceeds will go directly to Newhard’s wife, Jenny, and their 3 children.

Jenny was during tonight’s show. Hearing a songs her father used to play was bittersweet.

“He was a military officer for a prolonged time though his other passion was personification in a band. Singing, that was arrange of his approach of relieving a lot of a highlight of his pursuit and he was awesome,” she said.

Brian’s brother, Gary, was partial of the show, personification drums in one of a bands.
