CLEVELAND– A military officer who desirous a Cleveland lady mislaid his conflict with ALS on Friday.

Hank Adkins was forced to retired after 17 years as a Cleveland military officer when he was diagnosed. He upheld divided during a age of 45. (Read his necrology here)

His diagnosis stirred Destiny Rice to reason lemonade stands to assistance Adkins and his family, starting final summer.

“My grandparents and my mom — they’ve always lifted me to adore a military and all and assistance out, and I’ve only robe adult that way,” Destiny told FOX 8 in 2014. At a time, she had never met Adkins.
