Retired longtime Judge James R. McClelland Succumbs to ALS

A Mass of Christian Burial will be hold Wednesday, Mar 18, 2015 for Judge James McClelland who upheld divided on Sunday, Mar 15, 2015 during 4:00 p.m. after a bold conflict with ALS. McClelland, 69, was diagnosed with ALS, or amyotrophic parallel sclerosis, also famous as Lou Gehrig’s disease, several years ago. Visitations will be from 5-9pm on Tuesday, Mar 17 during a Church of a Assumption of a Blessed Virgin Mary in Franklin, LA with a Rosary being prayed during 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday during 9 a.m., during Church of a Assumption of a Blessed Virgin Mary until shortly before a wake service. The mass will be co-celebrated by Father Michael J. Russo and Father Lloyd Benoit with a Rev. O’Neal Landry.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be done to a Louisiana-Mississippi Chapter of ALS or to a Hanson/St. John substructure FBO James R. McClelland fund, 903 Anderson Street Franklin, Louisiana 70538.
